Top 5 Activities for Little Ones at Walt Disney World

We are often asked, “Is my child too young for Disney World?” We also hear that a child “will be too young to remember the experience”. There are precious memories to be made at any age – and as parents, you will always have those memories!
Here are our top 5 favorite activities for little ones at Walt Disney World:

No. 1: Rides

(Hi Ho Friends, Leah and Vincent)
There are many rides that do not have a height requirement and little ones can enjoy. Some of our favorites include: Mad Tea Party (tea cups), The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan’s Flight, Kilimanjaro Safari, and Frozen Ever After.

No. 2: Character Meet and Greets

(Hi Ho Friend, Braxton)
There are character meet and greet experiences throughout the park. Select few are a fast pass option. There are times when kids can be overwhelmed with their favorite characters up close and life-sized, but MOST of the time, it is such a fun experience!

No. 3: Harmony Barber Shop

(Hi Ho Friend, Isaac)
You can schedule a haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop located on Main St USA (in Magic Kingdom Park). Reservations are recommended though they accept walk-ins first come, first served from 9am-4pm. Celebrate a first haircut with a $25 package that includes a Mickey Ear Hat and certificate.

No. 4: Character Dining

(Hi Ho Friend, Lucas)
Schedule a character dining experience for some up close and individual time with your kids’ favorite characters – Disney Princesses, Mickey and friends, Lilo and Stitch, and more! These reservations can be made 180 days in advance. Character dining experiences participate in the Disney Dining Plan.

No. 5: Disney Jr – Live on Stage!

(Hi Ho Friend, Vincent)
Join Mickey and his friends, along with Princess Sophia (and friends), Doc McStuffins (and pals), and Jake and the Neverland Pirates (and crew) at this interactive show in Hollywood Studios Park. Little ones will wiggle and giggle while interacting with the show host and their favorite Disney Jr characters!

There is so much fun in store for your little one(s) at Walt Disney World. The magic is enjoyable whether you are almost 1 or 101! Again, you will make precious memories that will last a lifetime! And a bonus: until they’re three, they are free – Hot dog, Hot dog, Hot Diggity Dog!
