Conquer the Mountains!
Teens LOVE thrill rides and Walt Disney World has options sure to please even finicky teens. In Magic Kingdom, have your teens “conquer the mountains” by riding Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. In Hollywood Studios, be sure they brave Tower of Terror and enjoy the thrills of Rock-n-Roller coaster starring Aerosmith! And let’s not forget a visit to the yeti in Animal Kingdom and a ride on Expedition Everest. Many of these attractions will have long standby lines during the busy season. Make sure to utilize the FastPass+ service to ensure you maximize your time riding, not waiting!
Enjoy the Food!
We know teens LOVE to eat and Walt Disney World does not disappoint when it comes to food. Whether you are looking for classics like pizza and hot dogs or exotic cuisine, you are sure to find something to please everyone. Buffets offer a variety of options and a way to fill up hungry teenagers. If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion, such a birthday or graduation, consider one of the Signature restaurants or Special Events for your teen. An often overlooked option during the EPCOT festivals (Flower and Garden and Food and Wine) is “snacking around the world” Teens love to snack and by choosing options from the food booths, your teen can experience many different cuisines in small portions. Depending on your dining preferences, you may find that the dining plan benefits families with teens.
Experience the Nighttime Entertainment!
Enjoy the “night owl” tendencies of your teens and experience the nighttime entertainment and Evening Extra Magic Hours. All four parks have options for evening entertainment, including fireworks and projection shows. During busy seasons, the shows are often run twice, with teens, stay in the parks later and see the later show. Many of the families with younger children will have left the park and the shows will be less crowded. If you are an on-site guest, you can also take advantage of Evening Extra Magic Hours, giving you more time to enjoy your favorite attractions!
