Whether you are short on time or simply want to minimize your time in line, count on the VIP “Ultimates” to deliver maximum fun with minimal wait!
On a very busy Spring Break weekend, my family decided to put two of the Ultimate VIP tours to the test: Ultimate Day of Thrills and Ultimate Nights of Adventure. We planned our trip only ten days out and wanted to be sure to experience all of our favorites, with limited FastPass selections left, we decided take the plunge on the VIP experience.
First up, Ultimate Nights of Adventure at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. All of our favorite attractions and a delicious meal packed into FOUR hours! During our tour, we enjoyed Flight of Passage, Na’vi River Journey, dinner at Satu’li Canteen Kilimanjaro Safari, Dinosaur, TWO rides on Expedition Everest and front row seats for Rivers of Light. Our group of 16 led by two VIP guides entered every attraction via the FastPass queue and waited no more than five minutes for any ride. Ample bathroom breaks and water are provided, along with a delicious “family style” meal at Satu’li Canteen including a pre-ordered dessert and beverage of choice.
Not only did we experience all of our favorites with minimal wait, but were treated to fun facts and trivia along the way. Including seeing the only hidden Mickey in Pandora and discovering just how many leaves are on the Tree of Life.
Ultimate Nights of Adventure definitely received “two thumbs up!”
After an amazing night at Animal Kingdom, we were even more excited for “Ultimate Day of Thrills!”
“Thrills” takes guests on a whirlwind journey through three of the parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios – on this seven hour tour, you experience the “headline” attractions in each park and have time for a lunch break!
Beginning in Magic Kingdom, we conquered “the mountains”, visited the 999 “happy haunts” and took a ride through the mine before being whisked away via VIP transportation to EPCOT. Our EPCOT stop included lunch at Sunshine Seasons and everyone’s favorite Soarin’. We quickly exited backstage with our guide and were off to Hollywood Studios! After fun in Andy’s backyard, a little Star Tours and adrenaline pumping rides on Rock-n-Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, our tour was over. Our guides presented us with a souvenir available only to VIP guests and offered transportation back to Magic Kingdom for those interested.
We found “Thrills” to be worth every penny! As we visited each attraction, we kept track of the Standby Wait Times. In six hours and 47 minutes, we enjoyed 11 attractions, in 3 parks and enjoyed a 30-minute lunch break! The standby wait time alone for the 11 rides totaled 450 minutes! That is 7.5 hours NOT including lunch, bathroom breaks or transportation between parks!
Our “Ultimates” experience has us hooked on the VIP experience! “Thills” and “Nights of Adventure” are perfect for travel parties with tweens, teens and adults. If your group consists of younger guests or those who are not thrill seekers, consider “Ultimate Disney Classics” for a VIP experience in Fantasyland.
Be sure to add the “Ultimates” to your Walt Disney World “Bucket List!”
